Visiting a new church for the first time can be daunting so here’s what you can expect…

Where do I park?
There is parking for around 18 cars in the church yard but if this is full then you can park on Heath Road.
How do I get in? There are 3 doors into the church and the main entrance is the one with an archway above it (on the left as you face the building) – this is the one used on a Sunday. For all mid-week activities the side door is used (on the right as you face the building). The door in the middle is a fire escape from the main church hall. On arrival you will be met with a steward who can direct you to the right room.
What do I wear? There is no dress code and you are welcome to wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Naturally many people prefer to dress up on a Sunday morning but there are always those who wear something more casual like jeans.
Where do my kids go? About 10-15 minutes into the Sunday service, the children are invited to go to junior church which takes place in the main church hall (for primary school children). As all the children leave at the same time your children should feel free to follow the others unless you would prefer to accompany them to ensure they are settled. |
